A4 menu book that opens sideways, with tabs down the right edge and both sides of every page printed, so each tab opens to a two-page spread. Every category from the menu list has its own page. Click the buttons, a tab or a page to flip through.

Photos. Every item gets a cut-out photo with the background removed, sitting on the black page. The circles show how big each photo will be. All items on the same page share one size, so the page looks even, and pages with fewer items get bigger photos.
Robatayaki sits on the Sushi page. Pasta sits under the Burgers, and Kids Dessert gets the facing page. Café and Drinks share the last spread. Tempura and Katsu Ala Carte share one page. Katsu is marked as served without rice.
Binding. "Eyelets showing" puts two metal eyelets on the front and back covers, like the Napoli sample. "Hidden spine" puts the pages in a cover with a spine strip that covers the screws, so no hardware shows on the outside either. In both versions the inside spreads stay clean, with no eyelets in the middle. Pages can still be swapped by unscrewing from the back, but this cover costs more, so ask the printer or menu-cover supplier.
Middle of the book. The pages are printed black right to the edge, so the binding area just looks like more black page. The first 10 mm of every page, up to the eyelet or glue line, is clamped inside the binding and never shows. The next 10 mm stays free of food and text because it curves into the fold.
Still to come: prices, the café and drinks list, descriptions and photos for the new pasta dishes, the Maki Set details and the photos for Oshi Sushi and any new rolls. The two dashed circles on the Maki page are kept free for new rolls.
